Overview

The undergraduate program in Business Administration is application-oriented, designed to train graduates with foundational knowledge in social sciences, politics, law, and comprehensive professional expertise in the field of business administration.

  • Learners are equipped with the ability to generate creative ideas, initiate and operate business activities based on an understanding of legal frameworks, market economy dynamics, business environments, and management systems.
  • Learners possess research capabilities, self-learning skills, and the ability to use English for communication and professional purposes
  • Learners are proficient in using computers and basic office software, and can apply modern information technology in business and management.

Program Structure

Cấu trúc chương trình

– Total credits: 120 credits, excluding English courses (10 credits), physical education (3 credits), and national defense education (8 credits).

– The credits are distributed by the following courses:

  • General education: 28 credits, including 24 compulsory courses and 4 elective courses;
  • Basic core courses and major core courses: 65 credits, including 61 compulsory credits and 4 elective credits;
  • Concentration courses: 15 credits, including 15 compulsory courses.
  • Internship and graduation thesis: 12 credits

– The proportion of credits for skill-based courses, field study, and internships ranges from 13.3% to 27.7% of the total minimum program credits, depending on the number of elective courses selected by the student.

– Practical hours make up at least 30% of each course.

General knowledge

  • Understand the fundamental principles of Marxism–Leninism, Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, the viewpoints, policies, and guidelines of the Communist Party, as well as the laws and regulations of the State.

  • Explain and apply foundational knowledge from social sciences, political science, and law as a basis for acquiring core knowledge in the business administration field.

  • Demonstrate understanding and the ability to apply socio-economic laws to business organization and management, including areas such as marketing, organizational structure and human resources, production, accounting and finance, business policies and strategies, innovation and entrepreneurship, business development, social responsibility, and gender responsibility.

Specialized knowledge

  • Marketing and E-business

Demonstrate in-depth understanding of marketing and e-business, including market and customer analysis, digital advertising, social marketing, supply chain management, and electronic commerce.

  • Organization and Human Resources

Demonstrate in-depth understanding of organizational structure and human resources, including recruitment, training and development, compensation and benefits, labor relations, performance management, and organizational behavior.

  • Finance and Investment

Demonstrate in-depth understanding of finance and investment, including real estate investment, securities analysis and investment, project investment management, financial markets, and financial risk management.

  • International Business and Trade

Demonstrate in-depth understanding of economics, business administration, and international trade, particularly in areas such as finance, marketing, and international human resources.

  • Address real-life and workplace situations from the perspective of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, the viewpoints, policies, and guidelines of the Communist Party, and the laws and regulations of the State.

  • Integrate core business administration skills such as planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring, evaluating, and adjusting.

Foreign Language Competency

  • Able to use English for communication at Level 3 according to the Vietnamese 6-Level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework: capable of understanding the main ideas of standardized and clear texts or speeches on familiar topics related to work, education, and leisure; able to handle most situations that may arise in areas where English is spoken; able to write simple texts on familiar or personally interesting topics; able to describe experiences, events, dreams, hopes, and aspirations, and briefly explain reasons, opinions, and plans; able to read and comprehend materials and documents related to one’s field of study.

Information Technology

  • Demonstrate an overall understanding of computer systems, data organization, computing resources, and computer networks. Proficient in using various office software applications and capable of utilizing online resources and internet services in accordance with Circular No. 03/2014/TT-BGDĐT dated March 11, 2014, or equivalent certification issued by the Vietnam Women’s Academy to meet graduation requirements.
