This morning (December 16, 2024), Vietnam Women’s Academy (VWA) held a acceptance test for the software of the Journal of Science – an important achievement in the Academy’s digital transformation project. The event not only marked a new step forward in the modernization of publishing activities, but also contributed to enhancing the position of VWA’s Journal of Science in the scientific research community at home and abroad.

The Journal of Science software consists of two main components: Electronic information page and Operating and publishing software.

The website interface is designed to be user-friendly and easy to use, providing an overview of the activities of the Journal of Science, from training and education to scientific research and international cooperation. The website also helps readers search for information about published scientific articles, including abstracts, helping to increase access to knowledge.

The software not only supports authors, editors and reviewers throughout the entire publishing process, but also significantly improves work efficiency. From submission, review, editing to publication, all operations are performed online, transparently and objectively. This is especially important in improving the scientific quality and reliability of the Journal.

In addition, the software also integrates modern features such as:

  • Automatically reminding work progress between relevant parties.
  • Efficiently managing the tasks of editors, reviewers and authors.
  • Improving article indexing, helping the Journal increase its visibility on international scientific platforms.

Built on a modern technology platform, the Journal of Science software is expected to help Vietnam Women’s Academy (VWA) improve publishing quality in the future.

In addition, when building the Journal’s software, the Academy also aims to achieve transparency and expand opportunities to connect the scientific community in the era of a flat world.

Speaking at the acceptance ceremony, Assoc.Prof. Dr. DUONG Kim Anh, Vice President of VWA and Editor-in-Chief of VWA’s Journal of Science, emphasized that this software is a comprehensive solution to help the Journal operate more effectively, while ensuring objectivity and transparency throughout the entire publishing process.

“The new website of the Journal is not only a tool to support publishing but also a bridge between the Journal and the scientific research community. We expect that this platform will enhance the accessibility of VWA’s Journal of Science to society and the international scientific community.” Assoc.Prof. Dr. DUONG Kim Anh has shared.

The acceptance and operation of the Journal of Science software is not only a step forward in the digital transformation roadmap of VWA but also brings practical value to the scientific research movement of the Academy.

The Journal of Science software is designed to operate synchronously with the overall digital transformation system of VWA. The Academy’s electronic information portal acts as an integration center, connecting all internal applications and services in the command and control software system. This digital ecosystem not only effectively supports the management and operation of units in the Academy, but also facilitates the Journal of Science to link with other activities of the Academy. Thanks to that, the Journal’s operating process becomes seamless, while enhancing the accessibility of lecturers, researchers and students to tools for academic and publishing purposes.
