On the morning of December 4, 2024, at Vietnam Women’s Academy, the mini-talk program with the theme “Discovering the sales profession with Gen Z” took place enthusiastically, attracting nearly 300 students to participate. The event was organized by Vietnam Women’s Academy in collaboration with An Vuong Land Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company, bringing a lot of knowledge, practical experience and attractive career opportunities to young people.
In the context of sales becoming an increasingly potential career choice, especially for Gen Z – people who are dynamic, creative and passionate about conquering challenges – the mini-talk has brought a fresh perspective on this field.
The program opened with an inspiring sharing from speakers from An Vuong Land, a prestigious and experienced real estate company in training and developing human resources. Real stories, from initial difficulties to the journey to become professional sales experts, created strong motivation for the participating students.
In particular, the program content not only revolves around theory, but also focuses on the skills needed to succeed in sales such as: effective communication, the art of negotiating and persuading customers, as well as how to build trust and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
Student Nguyen Thu Trang spoke: “The mini-talk not only provided knowledge but also helped me understand that sales is a field that requires perseverance, sensitivity and creativity. The practical lessons from the speaker made me more confident in my ability to pursue this job in the future.“
In addition to knowledge sharing, the program also organized exchange and Q&A activities between students and speakers. Questions about how to overcome sales pressure, how to deal with difficult customers or the secrets to building sustainable success in the profession received special attention from young people.
The atmosphere of the program became even more exciting with valuable gifts given to students who actively participated in the interaction. This was not only a motivation but also a way to encourage the spirit of learning and discovery of young people.
Student Nguyen Duc Duy shared: “This is the first time I attended a sales program and I was really impressed with the way the speakers mastered the situation. Through the program, I realized that sales is not just about ‘selling products’ but also requires the ability to understand psychology and empathize with customers. This makes me want to try this field in the future.“
The highlight of Mini Talk is that An Vuong Land not only shares experiences but also brings many attractive career opportunities to students. As one of the pioneers in the real estate industry, An Vuong Land is committed to accompanying the young generation, creating a professional working environment for them to maximize their potential.
An Vuong Land representatives shared: “We believe that Gen Z is the most dynamic and creative workforce today. By equipping them with knowledge, practical skills and career development opportunities, we hope to help guide and accompany young people on their journey to conquer the sales profession.“
The presence of recruiters at the program also helps students better understand the requirements and recruitment criteria in the current sales field. This is an opportunity for students to self-assess their abilities, orient themselves and prepare for their career journey after graduation.
The Mini Talk program not only brings immediate value but also marks an important milestone in the cooperative relationship between Vietnam Women’s Academy and An Vuong Land. The two sides are committed to continuing to implement training activities, career counseling and organizing internship and recruitment programs, in order to bring practical benefits to students.
PhD(c). Bui Gia Huan – Head of Student Affairs Department, Vietnam Women’s Academy, affirmed: “Vietnam Women’s Academy always strives to create the best conditions for students to access practical training programs that are suitable for social needs. This mini-talk is a clear demonstration of that goal.“
At the end of the program, the bright smiles and sincere thanks from the students are proof of the success of the mini-talk. The knowledge, practical experience and career opportunities that the program brings not only help young people understand more about the sales profession but also give them more motivation to confidently pursue the path they choose.
Vietnam Women’s Academy and An Vuong Land hope that this event will become a source of inspiration for Gen Z to boldly explore themselves and conquer future challenges. The cooperation between the two units promises to open up more meaningful programs, contributing to building a young, dynamic and enthusiastic workforce.
