Welcoming Prime Minister PHAM Minh Chinh and the high-ranking delegation of ministries and branches to attend the event were comrade HA Thi Nga – Member of the 13th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Secretary of the Central Party Committee of Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU), President of VWU, along with comrades of the Presidium, members of the Central Executive Committee of VWU, officials of VWU, Board of Management of Vietnam Women’s Academy (VWA), and cadres, employees and students of the Academy.

Prime Minister PHAM Minh Chinh and the delegation directly visited the campus and functional rooms of VWA. At the Traditional Room, the Prime Minister and delegates listened to the introduction of the Academy’s development journey of more than half a century, from the period of being the Central Women Cadre Training School to becoming a multidisciplinary university. This event is an important milestone, recognizing VWA’s continuous efforts in providing knowledge, fostering capacity and contributing to the cause of social development.

A notable highlight of the tour was the Prime Minister’s stop at the modern studio where students of the Multimedia Communication major are studying and practicing. With advanced technological equipment, the studio has clearly demonstrated its application training capacity, creating conditions for students to promote their creativity and constantly grasp new communication technology trends.

Prime Minister PHAM Minh Chinh also expressed his excitement when visiting the Robocon demonstration area of ​​students majoring in Information Technology. Here, students demonstrated controlling robots with smart and flexible features, which are the result of the process of research, innovation and application of technology into practice. The Prime Minister expressed his impression of the achievements of VWA’s students, emphasizing that this is a vivid demonstration of the training combining theory with practice, meeting the requirements of the 4.0 industrial revolution.

After visiting the Academy, the Prime Minister and the delegation were welcomed at the Hall in a solemn and exciting atmosphere with performances by students of VWA. The performances left a deep impression, reviving the spirit of youth, patriotism and national pride. In particular, the song called Vietnamese Women’s Song was like a touching song of gratitude, honoring the role and dedication of Vietnamese women through all periods.

At the meeting, the President of VWU, Ms. HA Thi Nga, delivered a profound speech, emphasizing the proud achievements of VWU and VWA in contributing to the sustainable development of the country. She affirmed that the role of VWA is not only an educational institution but also a support for women nationwide, especially women in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, helping them improve their knowledge, skills and quality of life.

On behalf of VWA, Assoc.Prof. Dr. TRAN Quang Tien – President of VWA briefly presented the journey of formation and development of the Academy. Assoc.Prof. Dr. TRAN Quang Tien affirmed: More than half a century ago, the Central Women Cadre Training School sowed the first seeds of knowledge, becoming the cradle of training many generations of talented and courageous female cadres. Over the past decade, VWA has grown, developed strongly, constantly expanding and improving the quality of training programs for female cadres, Bachelors, Masters, and Doctors and conducting in-depth research on women and gender equality on the journey of knowledge and technology integration.

Representing the faculty, Dr. NGUYEN Van Ve delivered a speech affirming the role of faculty in awakening students’ potential, pursuing the philosophy of “Teachers take the lead, students take the initiative”. Dr. NGUYEN Van Ve emphasized that the faculties of VWA always strives to create a quality, creative and equal learning environment, helping students develop comprehensively in knowledge and skills.

Representing more than 6,000 students studying at VWA, BUI Hoang Ngoc Anh, a student majoring in Psychology, also shared her emotional experiences studying at the Academy. Ngoc Anh expressed her gratitude to the teachers who have accompanied and supported her, helping her students not only equip themselves with professional knowledge but also train their qualities and ethics, preparing them for their future career journey.

In the directive speech, Prime Minister PHAM Minh Chinh sent his congratulations and deep encouragement to all officials of VWU, as well as cadres, employees and students of VWA. He affirmed the role of VWU in directing the Academy to fulfill its mission of nurturing and training high-quality female human resources to meet the country’s socio-economic development needs, while emphasizing the importance of educating young people about civic awareness, professional ethics and creativity. The Prime Minister also called on VWA to continue to innovate its training programs, expand international cooperation and continuously improve the quality of teaching to become one of the leading educational institutions in the field of women’s development and gender equality.

The meeting concluded with an emotional speech by student BUI Hoang Ngoc Anh, representing more than 6,000 students of VWA. Ngoc Anh expressed her gratitude to the Government, lecturers and family, and expressed her determination to strive and continuously learn to become global citizens, contributing to society and the country.

The event of welcoming Prime Minister PHAM Minh Chinh and the high-ranking delegation of the Party and State is a special mark in the development history of VWA, demonstrating the Government’s great recognition and encouragement for the mission of educating and developing women, creating pride and a strong source of motivation for all staff, lecturers and students of the Academy.
