As 2025 comes to a close, the Party Committee of the Vietnam Women’s Academy (VWA) marks a year characterized not by dramatic change, but by steady, persistent leadership and consistent implementation of its political and professional responsibilities. Grounded in organizational stability, unity of purpose, and shared responsibility, the Party Committee has continued to play a central role in guiding and connecting all aspects of the Academy’s development.

With 227 Party members across 12 Party cells, the Party Committee remains a key political force within the Academy, directly involved in and orienting major areas of activity. Throughout 2025, its leadership was evident across political and ideological work, Party building, training and scientific research, as well as efforts to support the material and spiritual well-being of cadres, civil servants, and employees.

One of the most notable achievements of the year was the successful maintenance of ideological stability amid evolving demands in higher education. The study and dissemination of Party resolutions and directives were implemented rigorously yet flexibly, through a combination of in-person and online meetings and thematic Party cell activities. These efforts contributed to strengthening political awareness, responsibility, and a sense of exemplary conduct among Party members, fostering unity in carrying out shared tasks.

Beyond conventional approaches, the Party Committee also emphasized linking political and ideological education with daily professional practice. Thematic activities connected to history and tradition, including visits to revolutionary heritage sites, provided vivid educational experiences. By combining theory with practice, these activities helped deepen understanding, reinforce institutional values, and encourage Party members to reflect on their responsibilities in the current context.

A significant milestone in 2025 was the completion and publication of The History of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Women’s Academy (1960–2025). More than a historical record, the publication represents the collective memory, experience, and dedication of multiple generations of cadres and Party members. It serves as a foundation for reinforcing institutional identity and strengthening confidence as the Academy moves forward.

Alongside Party building, the Party Committee’s leadership was clearly reflected in the Academy’s core missions. Training and capacity-building activities were maintained in a stable manner, with gradual improvements in quality. Scientific research saw positive developments, marked by increased participation from lecturers, researchers, and students. Research projects focused on areas aligned with the Academy’s mission and strengths, contributing to knowledge dissemination and community engagement.

Social responsibility initiatives also continued to receive attention, reflecting the Academy’s commitment to sustainable development. Charitable activities, voluntary blood donation programs, and efforts to care for staff welfare helped foster a cohesive, supportive, and humane working environment, strengthening trust and solidarity across the institution.

Party building work remained a priority, with renewed attention to the quality and depth of Party cell activities and a cautious, systematic approach to Party member development – particularly among young cadres and student members – to ensure continuity and long-term growth.

These achievements provided the backdrop for the 2025 Party Work Review Conference, held on December 30, 2025. The Conference offered an opportunity to reflect on a year of sustained effort and to clarify directions for the coming period. The announcement of decisions approving key Party leadership positions for the 2025 – 2030 term, along with reviews of major emulation movements, underscored the Party Committee’s commitment to quality, effectiveness, and renewal.

Entering 2026, the Party Committee of the Vietnam Women’s Academy is poised to build on this foundation – promoting solidarity, renewing leadership approaches, and continuing to guide the Academy’s training, research, and community service missions in a new stage of development.
