The semi-finals, third-place match, and final of the 2026 Women Students’ Football Tournament of the Vietnam Women’s Academy (VWA) were held in a vibrant and enthusiastic atmosphere, bringing an exciting and memorable season to a close. Beyond determining the final rankings, the concluding matches highlighted the spirit of sportsmanship, solidarity, and the dynamic, confident, and passionate image of VWA female students.

The third-place playoff between Economic Law and the joint team of Economics – Digital Economics – Social Work was played with high concentration and determination. Economic Law demonstrated a disciplined and well-structured style of play, controlling the tempo and making effective use of scoring opportunities. Their two goals accurately reflected their dominance throughout the match. Despite strong efforts and continuous attacks, the joint team was unable to break through the opposing defense. As a result, Economic Law secured third place with a convincing performance.

The highlight of the tournament was the final match between Multimedia Communication and Law, two teams that had shown consistent form and strong competitive spirit since the group stage. The match attracted considerable attention from VWA leaders, lecturers, and students, creating an energetic atmosphere from the opening whistle.

Multimedia Communication entered the match proactively, applying flexible tactics and demonstrating effective coordination between all lines. Their organized attacks placed sustained pressure on the Law team’s goal. In response, Law maintained a compact defense and sought counter-attacking opportunities, showcasing composure and resilience.

After a period of intense and evenly matched play, Multimedia Communication gradually gained the upper hand and converted their advantage into crucial goals. Although Law continued to fight with determination and managed to score, adding tension to the final moments, Multimedia Communication’s efficiency proved decisive. The match ended with a 3 – 1 victory, officially crowning Multimedia Communication as champions of the 2026 VWA Women Students’ Football Tournament. This achievement reflected thorough preparation, strong teamwork, and a focused competitive mindset throughout the tournament.

In addition to team awards, the Organizing Committee recognized outstanding individual performances that contributed to the quality and appeal of the competition. The title of Miss Women Students’ Football Tournament 2026 was awarded to Nguyen Khanh Ly (Information Technology) for her positive image and serious sporting attitude. The First Goal Scorer of the Tournament award went to Vi Thu Thuy (Economic Law), whose opening goal energized the entire competition. The Best Goalkeeper award was presented to Dinh Khanh Minh (Multimedia Communication) for her consistent performance and crucial saves, while the Best Player title was awarded to Chu Thi Thu Trang (Law) for her intelligent play, match control, and persistent fighting spirit.

At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee announced the final results: First Prize – Multimedia Communication; Second Prize – Law; Third Prize – Economic Law; and Consolation Prizes for Information Technology, the joint team of Tourism Management – Gender & Development, and the joint team of Economics – Digital Economics – Social Work.

The 2026 Women Students’ Football Tournament of the Vietnam Women’s Academy concluded with many positive impressions, including fair competition, enthusiastic support from spectators, strong team spirit, and close connections between students and the Academy.

Beyond sporting achievements, the tournament contributed to promoting physical activity, enriching student life, and fostering a healthy balance between academic study and physical development.
