This annual event reflects the Academy’s long-standing tradition of gratitude, respect, and connection between generations. It also serves as a special New Year occasion to honor those who devoted many years of service to the development of the Academy and the advancement of women’s education and social progress.
The event was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trần Quang Tiến, President of the Academy; MA Hà Thị Thanh Vân, Vice President; current staff and employees; and a large number of retired officials who previously held important roles within the institution. A key highlight of the program was a presentation summarizing the Academy’s achievements in 2025, a year marked by comprehensive progress across multiple areas. The Academy continued to strengthen its position within Vietnam’s higher education system through effective training and capacity-building programs for officials of the Vietnam Women’s Union and the Lao Women’s Union, women entrepreneurs, students, and internal staff. These activities aimed to enhance professional expertise, leadership skills, and practical competencies.
In terms of formal education, the Academy recorded impressive enrollment results, admitting more than 2,300 new undergraduates, master’s, and doctoral students. Rising admission benchmarks in several programs reflected the increasing attractiveness and credibility of the Academy’s academic offerings. Overall, more than 7,000 learners studied at the Academy during the year, with a high on-time graduation rate, demonstrating sustained training quality. Early childhood education activities also continued stably, contributing to the Academy’s comprehensive educational mission.
Quality assurance and scientific research remained major priorities. The Academy successfully completed its second cycle of institutional quality assessment and achieved a notable position in the VNUR university rankings. Research activities flourished, with over 100 projects, numerous academic conferences, and a growing number of domestic and international publications, further strengthening the Academy’s academic reputation.
International cooperation expanded through new partnerships, exchanges, scholarships, and overseas internship opportunities for students, supporting deeper global integration. Student affairs received comprehensive attention, including soft-skills training, academic support, and student well-being initiatives. Community service activities also stood out, with strong student participation and meaningful contributions to society.
