Overview

The undergraduate training program in Business Administration has an application orientation, training bachelors with basic knowledge of social sciences, politics, law and comprehensive expertise in the field of Business Administration.

  • Learners have the ability to form creative ideas, start and operate businesses on the basis of understanding the law, the operating rules of the market economy and the business environment, management system
  • Learners have the ability to research, self-study and the ability to use English or Japanese for specialized communication
  • Learners have skills in using computers and basic office software, applying modern information technology in business and management.

Program structure

Cấu trúc chương trình

– Total credits: 120 credits, not including basic English (10 credits), physical education (3 credits) and National Defense Education (8 credits).

– Allocated according to knowledge blocks as follows:

+ General education: 28 credits, of which compulsory courses are 24 credits, elective courses are 4 credits

+ Industry and sector basis: 65 credits, of which compulsory courses are 61 credits, elective courses are 4 credits

+ Major: 15 credits, of which compulsory courses are 15 credits, elective courses are 0 credits;

+ Internship and graduation thesis: 12 credits

– The credit ratio of skills and practice and internship modules/total credits is at least: 13.3%; maximum is 27.7% (depending on the total number of elective courses of the student).

– Minimum practice time/module ratio is 30%

General knowledge:

KT1: Summarize the basic contents of Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, viewpoints, policies, guidelines of the Party, policies and laws of the Party. State.

KT2: Explain and apply knowledge of social science, political science and law as a foundation for acquiring basic knowledge of the industry and General knowledge of business administration.

KT3: Demonstrate understanding and ability to apply socio-economic laws to the organization, business and management of enterprises, including : marketing, organization and human resources, production, accounting and finance, business policy and strategy, innovative startups and business development, social responsibility and gender responsibility.

Specialized knowledge:

  • Marketing and E-business major:

KT4: Demonstrate in-depth understanding of marketing and e-business, including: markets and customers, e-advertising, social marketing, supply chain, e-business.

  • Organization and Human Resources major:

KT4: Demonstrate in-depth understanding of organizations and human resources, including: recruitment, training and human resource development; salaries, bonuses and benefits; labor relations; performance management; organizational behavior.

  • Finance and Investment major:

KT4: Demonstrate in-depth understanding of finance and investment, including: real estate investment, stock analysis and investment, investment project management , financial market. Risk management in finance

  • International Business and Trade Major:

KT4: Demonstrate in-depth understanding of economics, business administration and international trade, specifically in the fields of finance, marketing, international human resources economic.

KN1: Have skills to solve problems/situations in real life and work from the perspective of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh ideology.

KN2: Combine professional skills in business administration such as planning, organizing, implementing, checking, evaluating and adjusting.

  • Marketing and E-business major:

  • Organization and Human Resources major:

KN9: Effectively apply operational and management skills in: recruitment, personnel training, human resource development, salaries, bonuses and benefits, labor relations operations, performance management, organizational behavior.

  • Finance and Investment major:

KN9: Effectively apply operational and management skills in: real estate investment, stock analysis and investment, investment project management, financial market finance, risk management in finance.

TC1: Strengthen belief in Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh’s thought, and the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam; steadfast in the goal of national independence and socialism; Form political bravery and revolutionary moral qualities, strive to become good citizens.

Foreign language

Students can choose to study and meet the foreign language output standards in one of two languages: English or Japanese, specifically as follows:

NN1: Can use English to communicate at Level 3 according to the 6-level Foreign Language Competency Framework for Vietnam: can understand the main ideas of a paragraph or article speak clearly and standardly about familiar topics in work, school, entertainment, etc.; can handle most situations that arise when visiting an area where the language is spoken; can write simple paragraphs relating to topics that are familiar or of personal interest; can describe experiences, events, dreams, hopes, ambitions and can briefly state reasons, explain opinions and plans; can read and understand documents and texts related to the training major.

NN2: Can use Japanese communication at Level 3 (JLPT N3) according to the 6-level Foreign Language Competency Framework for Vietnam: Can understand all simple information related to topics in everyday life and work; can understand details of most passages of information if spoken in a familiar and clear manner; can understand the main ideas of short stories and common statements/conversations in work, study, and entertainment if spoken clearly in standard language; can present and speak clearly and meticulously about relatively broad topics related to the field of personal interest; can add main ideas, give relevant examples, to develop and emphasize one’s own point of view

Informatics

IT1: Ability to have a general understanding of computer systems, data organization, resources and computer networks. Proficient in skills in using some office software, exploiting resource applications, and internet services according to Circular No. 03/2014/TT-BGDDT dated March 11, 2014 or equivalent to a certificate issued by Ho Chi Minh City. organized by the Vietnam Women’s Institute to serve graduation consideration

Graduates of the Business Administration major have enough knowledge and skills to continue studying to improve their qualifications in master’s programs and work in business organizations in all economic sectors and institutions. Government agencies, non-profit organizations or self-starters, business startups with position groups that can undertake:

  • Specialists, business managers, sales; Operational managers in main functional departments of business administration such as: production, marketing team/department, human resources, materials, quality, finance and accounting… for medium-sized enterprises and small domestically and internationally.
  • Analyst and business management consultant in specific fields such as: market, organization and human resources, marketing, finance, real estate, securities…
  • Businessmen, start-up entrepreneurs, domestic and international business startups.
  • Experts and managers in charge of economic and business fields in state organizations, non-profit organizations, and international organizations.
  • Researchers, tutors/lecturers in business administration in general and specialized fields of business administration in particular at institutes, research centers, training facilities or agencies business policy planning.
