Scholarships for studying abroad: A dream within reach of Vietnam Women’s Academy (VWA) students
For many students, especially those who have just joined VWA, the question of whether VWA students can participate in scholarship programs to study abroad is a common one. The answer is “Yes!”, and not only that, but there are many attractive options. Vietnam Women’s Academy is constantly striving to expand learning opportunities for students through cooperation with many prestigious universities around the world.
VWA currently partners with many prestigious universities from Asia to Europe and America, including Chonnam National University (Korea), Niagara University (USA), Ochanomizu University (Japan), Macerata University (Italy), and many others such as Chien Hsin University, Minh Chuan University (Taiwan), Chiang Mai University (Thailand), and Flinders University (Australia). These partnerships open up a series of short-term and long-term scholarship programs for VWA students.
Federation Agreement Scholarship in Russia: The first steps to go far
Since 2018, students of VWA have achieved a proud achievement when receiving many Agreement Scholarships in the Russian Federation. This is one of the prestigious scholarships for students with excellent academic achievements and is sponsored by the Russian Government. Up to now, nearly 30 students of the Academy have received this scholarship at both undergraduate and master’s levels, putting VWA in the group of public educational institutions with a high number of students receiving scholarships in the country.
2024 was another successful year when 3 more excellent students from the fields of Psychology, Business Administration and Economic Law were awarded Agreement scholarships in the Russian Federation:
🚀 KIEU Diem Linh – K11 Psychology student, won a scholarship to study at Moscow State Pedagogical University.

International joint training program in Taiwan: A new journey for VWA students
This October marks an important milestone when students majoring in Business Administration under the international joint program between VWA and Ming Chuan University (Taiwan) officially “depart” to continue completing their joint training program. This joint training program allows students to study for two years at VWA before transferring to Ming Chuan University – the one famous for its internationalized curriculum and paid internship opportunities at leading companies. This not only helps students accumulate knowledge but also provides valuable practical experience before entering the professional working environment.
Three outstanding students for this departure are:
🚀 TRINH Thi Thu Huong – K10 student majoring in Business Administration.
🚀 NGUYEN Thi Ha – K10 student majoring in Business Administration.
🚀 LE Ngo Thuy Trang – K10 student majoring in Business Administration.
Support graduate students seeking international scholarships
Not only supporting students who are still in school, VWA also helps graduates access valuable scholarship opportunities. In 2024, the Academy connected two alumni from K7 in Tourism and Travel Services Management, and from K2 in Social Work to receive scholarships at top universities in Taiwan. These scholarships have become the motivation for them to constantly strive and improve their professional qualifications on their career development journey.
🚀 NGUYEN Thao My – K2 Social Work alumni, received a scholarship at NanHua University.
🚀 NGUYEN Anh Dung – K7 alumni majoring in Tourism & Hospitality Management, won a scholarship at Aletheia University.
The above achievements are not only the pride of VWA students but also a testament to the efforts of the Academy in expanding learning and development opportunities for young people. Each student receiving a scholarship is not only a personal joy, but also a motivation and inspiration for the next generation of students who are and will strive to achieve success in their international education journey.
Vietnam Women’s Academy will continue to be a bridge, opening the door to global knowledge, supporting and accompanying young people on their journey to discover new horizons!
