The Vietnam Women’s Academy hereby announces the solicitation of public opinions on the list of individuals proposed for consideration for the honorary titles “People’s Teacher” and “Meritorious Teacher” (17th conferment – 2026).

This announcement is made pursuant to:

  • Decision No. 35/2024/QĐ-TTg dated 02 April 2024 of the Government on the regulations governing the conferment of the titles “People’s Teacher” and “Meritorious Teacher”;
  • Official Dispatch No. 5085/BGDĐT-TCCB dated 27 August 2025 of the Ministry of Education and Training regarding the implementation of the 17th conferment of the titles “People’s Teacher” and “Meritorious Teacher” in 2026.

Accordingly, the Vietnam Women’s Academy announces and solicits public opinions on the list of individuals proposed for the conferment of the titles “People’s Teacher” and “Meritorious Teacher” (17th conferment – 2026), as follows:

II. List of Individuals Proposed for the Title “Meritorious Teacher”

On 26 January 2026, the Vietnam Women’s Academy convened a meeting involving all officials, civil servants, and employees (with labor contracts of 12 months or longer) to conduct a confidence vote for individuals proposed for the titles “People’s Teacher” and “Meritorious Teacher” under the 17th conferment in 2026.

III. Solicitation of Public Opinions

The Vietnam Women’s Academy respectfully invites officials, staff members, employees, learners, and interested members of the public to provide feedback and opinions on the above-mentioned list of nominees.

Period for receiving opinions:
From 29 January 2026 to 06 February 2026 (inclusive).

All submitted opinions will be compiled by the Academy and reported to the Honorary Title Evaluation Council in accordance with current regulations.
