The opening ceremony of the Camp was solemnly held at Vietnam Women’s Academy (VWA) campus with the participation of representatives of VWA, of DSIK Foundation, of solidarity units, and more than 400 students from 11 training majors. In particular, the presence of international delegates from DSIK Foundation, such as Mr. Helmut SCHLEWEIS – Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Foundation, Mr. Nicolaus BERGMANN – Executive Director, and Dr. Ilonka RÜHLE-STERN – Head of Asia Department, affirmed the importance of international cooperation in spreading the value of savings and sustainability.
Assoc.Prof. Dr. DUONG Kim Anh, Vice President of the Academy, in her opening speech, emphasized: “The camp is not only an opportunity for students to experience creative activities, but also an opportunity for them to gain a deeper understanding of personal responsibility in building a sustainable lifestyle, connecting with cultural values and comprehensively developing themselves.”
The camp program took place with many exciting activities, especially interactive games. “Don’t let your money fall” The game “Don’t let your money fall” is designed into 5 stages, requiring teams to apply personal financial knowledge, teamwork skills and ingenuity to preserve the money they earn. Through each stage, teams also collect clues to solve the final code.
The teams, representing each training sector, demonstrated their determination and enthusiasm. The games attracted enthusiastic cheers from the audience, brightening up the camp atmosphere. The camp judging rounds, where students decorated and presented their booths with the theme of green living and saving money, also left a deep impression with their creativity and meaning.
After the presentation, introducing the camp theme with the characteristics of each industry but still ensuring the criteria of Green Savings – Digital Savings, the Jury announced the final results: The Multimedia Communication Department won the First Prize with its unique camp decoration and impressive, convincing presentation. Two Second Prizes went to the Digital Economy Department and the Business Administration Department, three Third Prizes were awarded to the Social Work, Gender & Development, and Psychology teams. The remaining teams: Information Technology, Law, Economic Law, Economics, Tourism and Hospitality Management also received Encouragement Prizes, recognizing the efforts and constant creativity of students of VWA.
The camp is not just a festival, but also a profound message to the student community about the sense of responsibility in saving money and protecting the environment, spreading green lifestyle, living frugally to the community through specific activities. Through each activity, students of VWA not only learn but also demonstrate their courage and solidarity, contributing to building the image of a dynamic, creative and socially responsible young generation.
The Green Savings – Digital Savings Camp concluded in a bustling and exciting atmosphere with inspiration to realize ideas and plans on saving and protecting the environment. This is a testament to the effective coordination between the Academy and international partners in improving the quality of training, enhancing the comprehensive development of students and contributing positive values to the social community.
