On the afternoon of 30 December 2025, the Party Committee of the Vietnam Women’s Academy (VWA) solemnly held the Conference to Review Party Affairs in 2025 and to deploy key tasks for 2026. The Conference also announced and presented decisions approving the positions of Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee for the 2025–2030 term, while conducting a preliminary review of five years of the “Two Goods” emulation movement and three years of building “Four-Good” Party cells.

Attending the Conference were Comrade Nguyễn Thị Thu Hiền, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of the Vietnam Women’s Union, together with all Party members of the Vietnam Women’s Academy. The event marked an important political milestone, reflecting the unity, responsibility, and determination of the Party Committee in reviewing a year of sustained efforts and identifying strategic priorities for the coming period.

In a solemn ceremony, Comrade Nguyễn Thị Thu Hiền presented the decision approving Comrade Trần Quang Tiến, Director of the Academy, as Secretary of the Party Committee, and Comrade Dương Kim Anh, Deputy Director of the Academy, as Deputy Secretary for the 2025 – 2030 term. The consolidation of key leadership positions affirms the confidence of the higher-level Party Committee and provides a solid political foundation for strengthening Party leadership within the Academy, in line with Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training.

Reviewing the year 2025, the Party Committee demonstrated comprehensive leadership across all areas of Party building and political tasks. Political and ideological work was implemented consistently and innovatively, contributing to strengthening political steadfastness, unity of awareness, and responsibility among Party members, officials, and employees. Notably, the Party Committee completed and published the book History of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Women’s Academy (1960–2025), a work of significant political and historical value that reinforces institutional identity and tradition.

Under the Party Committee’s leadership, the Academy achieved positive results in education, training, scientific research, and community service. Enrollment targets at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels were met, while research activities continued to expand in depth and relevance, particularly in areas related to women, gender equality, family, and social development. Community engagement initiatives further reflected the Academy’s commitment to social responsibility and sustainable development.

Party building remained a central task throughout the year. With 227 Party members across 12 Party cells, the Party Committee focused on improving the quality of grassroots Party activities, strengthening inspection and supervision, and promoting Party member development, particularly among young staff and students, to ensure long-term continuity.

In her directive remarks, Comrade Nguyễn Thị Thu Hiền commended the achievements of the Party Committee and emphasized the need to further enhance political and ideological work, leadership capacity, and the integration of Party building with professional missions. Responding to these directions, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trần Quang Tiến reaffirmed the Party Committee’s commitment to innovation, discipline, and quality improvement in all areas of the Academy’s operations.

The Conference concluded in a spirit of unity and determination. The achievements of 2025 provide a strong foundation for the Party Committee of the Vietnam Women’s Academy to enter 2026 proactively, continue enhancing leadership effectiveness, and contribute to the Academy’s stable and sustainable development in the new phase.
