On the morning of 8 March 2026, amid the vibrant atmosphere of the 2026 University Admissions and Career Guidance Fair, the Học viện Phụ nữ Việt Nam (Vietnam Women’s Academy) will officially participate at the campus of Đại học Bách khoa Hà Nội, bringing with it a youthful, modern spirit and a clear message: Choosing the right major – Paving the way toward a sustainable future.

The program, organized by Tuổi Trẻ Newspaper in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam (MOET) and other reputable partners, has become a familiar annual destination for tens of thousands of students. In 2026, the event continues to affirm its position as a large-scale admissions counseling forum, providing official, updated, and comprehensive information regarding the national high school graduation examination, university and college admission methods, and career trends in the context of digital transformation.

How Can Choosing a Major Cease to Be a Matter of Chance?

As they stand at the threshold of higher education, many candidates from the 2008, 2009, and 2010 cohorts express uncertainty: Which major should they choose to avoid losing direction? Which university would both match their abilities and align with evolving societal demands?

In response to these concerns, the Vietnam Women’s Academy will offer an open, welcoming, and in-depth advisory space at this year’s fair. At the Academy’s consultation booth, prospective students and their parents will have the opportunity to meet directly with faculty members, admissions officers, and current students to receive practical insights into academic programs, admission procedures, and post-graduation career prospects.

Twelve Academic Majors: Diverse, Updated, and Future-Oriented

At the 2026 Admissions Fair, the Vietnam Women’s Academy will introduce 12 full-time undergraduate majors, developed on the foundations of applied social sciences, management, and technology, in alignment with the requirements of the digital economy.

These include established strengths such as Business Administration, Law, Social Work, Psychology, and Gender and Development, alongside high-potential fields such as Information Technology and Multimedia Communications. All programs are designed to enhance digital skills, creative thinking, adaptability, and entrepreneurial spirit.

Across the 12 majors, the Academy offers 17 academic programs spanning multiple disciplines, thereby providing candidates with diverse options suited to their individual aptitudes and aspirations.

The Academy’s curricula emphasize practical application and real-world engagement through internships, corporate experiences, soft skills modules, and project-based learning. Students acquire not only disciplinary knowledge but also essential competencies in communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and self-management – skills that are indispensable in contemporary professional environments.

Scholarships, International Exchange, and Extracurricular Engagement: A Comprehensive Experiential Ecosystem

One of the aspects most frequently inquired about at the fair concerns scholarship opportunities and international exposure. The Vietnam Women’s Academy will provide detailed information regarding entrance scholarships, merit-based scholarships, as well as scholarships sponsored by enterprises and partner organizations.

In addition, the Academy actively promotes international cooperation, expanding student exchange programs, academic collaborations, and joint training initiatives with overseas partners. These efforts enable students to engage in multicultural learning environments, strengthen foreign language proficiency, and broaden their global perspectives.

Campus life at the Academy is further enriched by a diverse system of student clubs encompassing academic research, media, arts, life skills, volunteerism, and entrepreneurship. Dynamic Youth Union and Student Association activities, along with cultural and sporting events and academic competitions, contribute to students’ holistic development in intellectual, emotional, and social dimensions.

At the Academy’s consultation booth, candidates will receive individualized (one-on-one) advising to:

  • Obtain detailed explanations regarding 2026 admission methods;
  • Identify subject combinations appropriate to each major;
  • Access information on learning conditions and campus facilities;
  • Receive career orientation advice tailored to their personal strengths.

The advisory space is designed to be open and approachable, encouraging students to raise questions comfortably. Inquiries concerning admission scores, employment opportunities, academic environment, and student life will be addressed in a clear and transparent manner.
