The event was attended by Dr. TRAN Lan Phuong – Vice President of Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU), the Board of Management of Vietnam Women’s Academy (VWA), former leaders of VWU, the Central Women Cadre Training School (former name of VWA), and many cadres, lecturers and students.

In her opening speech, Dr. TRAN Lan Phuong emphasized the role of VWA in training and fostering VWU cadres and enhancing women’s empowerment. The workshop recorded many valuable presentations on the formation and development of the Academy. Ms. TRAN Thi Tam – former Vice President of the Central Women Cadre Training School – shared important milestones in the career of training female cadres, contributing to promoting gender equality.

The speakers discussed the opportunities and challenges for VWA in the context of digital transformation and international integration. The presentations focused on promoting the potential of the VWU cadres, aiming to improve leadership and management capacity while concretizing the strategy of educational innovation, integrating technology into teaching and expanding international cooperation.

The workshop ended with many important proposals to improve the quality of training and the Union’s cadres. Assoc.Prof. Dr. DUONG Kim Anh – Vice President of the Academy – affirmed VWA’s commitment to continuing to innovate and develop sustainably, contributing to promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment in Vietnam. The event marked an important step forward in VWA’s development journey, opening up many opportunities for cooperation in the future.
