Vietnam Women’s Academy (VWA) has officially launched the “Green Finance – Digital Finance” bookstore, a modern, friendly and convenient learning space for students. With the attention and investment from the school, the bookstore is not only a place to provide academic materials but also contributes to promoting the spirit of self-study, research and creativity in an advanced learning environment.
Green Design – Modern – Friendly
The book counter is designed according to green criteria, environmentally friendly and optimal utility for users. The open space is spacious and airy with a system of light-colored wooden bookshelves, creating a warm and close feeling. Trees are reasonably arranged in the area to help create fresh air, reducing stress for students when studying. In addition, natural light combined with an energy-saving LED lighting system helps the space to always be bright enough but still ensure environmental friendliness.
The areas in the book counter are scientifically arranged with reading tables, computers for searching, group discussion areas and specialized document shelves. In particular, the central space of the book counter is arranged with a tree-shaped bookshelf, which is both a symbol of knowledge and increases the aesthetics of the study space.
The “Green Finance – Digital Finance” bookstore is sponsored by the German Savings Bank Cooperation Fund DSIK (Deutsche Sparkassenstiftung für Internationale Kooperation), an organization that supports the development of financial education globally. Thanks to this support, the bookstore is equipped with high-quality materials, helping students access knowledge about green finance and digital finance in a systematic and in-depth manner.
Diverse documents and digital technology applications
The “Green Finance – Digital Finance” bookstore provides hundreds of specialized books on finance, banking, financial technology and sustainable development. These documents are updated regularly, ensuring high applicability, serving the research needs of students and lecturers.
In addition to printed documents, the bookstore also integrates an electronic search system, helping students quickly find suitable documents. Computers connected to the network are ready to support online resource searches, accessing a variety of digital data stores from reputable academic sources.
Positive feedbacks from faculties and students
Dr. NGUYEN Duc Toan, Deputy Director in charge of the Information Technology Institute , shared: “Building a modern bookstore, integrating digital technology is a very necessary step, helping students to easily access knowledge in a more flexible and effective way. This is also a place to encourage students to improve their self-study and research skills in the context of strong digital transformation.”
HOANG Thu Phuong, a student majoring in Business Administration, said: “I really like the space of this bookstore. The design is both beautiful and modern, creating a feeling of relaxation when studying. In particular, the document system here is very rich, there are many books that I could only find online before, but now I can read directly at the counter.” In the coming time, the “Green Finance – Digital Finance” bookstore will continue to expand its content and integrate advanced information technology applications to enhance the learning experience. VWA also aims to build many other modern learning spaces to meet the increasing needs of students in the digital age.
With a green design, utilities and digital technology applications, the bookstore is not only a place to store knowledge but also a space to encourage creativity, research and development of students’ thinking, demonstrating a green vision and financial technology. This is an important step in innovating the learning model at VWA, creating the best conditions for students to access and master knowledge in the digital age.
