The program began with a theoretical part, providing information on recent fire and explosion situations, common causes of fires, and basic knowledge of fire protection and rescue capability. Participants were also instructed on how to use fire fighting equipment such as portable fire extinguishers, automatic fire alarm systems, and fire hoses, as well as were updated on new relevant legal regulations.

The practical part took place with a simulated scenario of a fire in the work area due to an electrical short circuit. The local fire prevention force quickly implemented preliminary steps such as cutting off the power source, evacuating victims, and using on-site fire fighting equipment. After that, professional forces coordinated to complete the task of extinguishing the fire and handling other dangerous situations.

In particular, participants practiced escaping through a toxic smoke environment and effectively using existing fire prevention and fighting equipment. The results of the training not only help improve practical handling capacity but also re-evaluate the effectiveness of equipment, thereby developing appropriate plans for adding and upgrading facilities.

The training also emphasized the importance of coordination between the fire protection units at grassroots level and other professional units. With the support of the Fire & Rescue Police Department, modern equipment such as ladder trucks and fire trucks were deployed, ensuring the highest professionalism and efficiency.

This activity is not only a necessary step in preparing for technology and human resources but also contributes to creating a safe working and learning environment. In the coming time, Vietnam Women’s Academy will continue to organize similar programs to equip staff, lecturers and students with more fire prevention and fighting and rescue skills, while strengthening the commitment to building a safe and sustainable educational environment.
