The leader of the delegation is M.A. HA Thi Thanh Van – Vice President of Vietnam Women’s Academy (VWA), together with representatives of the Labor Union and Youth Union of VWA, have presented 50 gifts to representatives of 50 families under preferential treatment policy in Duong Xa commune and 20 gifts to those families in Kieu Ky commune.
Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, comrade HA Thi Thanh Van sent her regards and at the same time, encouraged and motivated the families to continue promoting the revolutionary tradition of their families and hometowns, overcoming difficulties to develop the economy. The gifts sent by VWA to the families were not only material gifts but also filled with the affection, care and gratitude of the Academy towards the heroes and martyrs who sacrificed themselves for the peace and independence of the country. Comrade HA Thi Thanh Van also respectfully sent her best wishes for a new year of health, prosperity, happiness and peace to the representatives and families who have been present at the gift-giving ceremony, expressing gratitude to all of them.
Representatives of the authorities of Duong Xa and Kieu Ky communes and representatives of families under preferential treatment policy also expressed their gratitude to Vietnam Women’s Academy for always caring, supporting and encouraging the families, especially those in difficult and lonely circumstances in the two communes in the past time. Wishing VWA to further develop so as to to bring many good humanistic values to the community.
Community service activities are always one of the most important activities associated with the development process of the Academy. On the occasion of the coming of Tet holiday (Lunar New Year), we wish a lucky new year with good health and peace to all the elders and all the members of the families under preferential treatment policy!
