Welcoming the delegation were Assoc. Prof. Tran Quang Tien – Party Committee Secretary, President of Vietnam Women’s Academy (VWA), Ph.D. Duong Kim Anh – Vice President of VWA, and leaders of institutes, faculties, departments, and centers under VWA.
At the reception, Assoc. Prof. Tran Quang Tien expressed his honor to welcome the Lady to visit VWA and introduced the preliminary characteristics of the history, development strategy, and visions of VWA.
Lady H. E. Humile Mashatile expressed her joy at being welcomed by VWA in a respectful and sincere atmosphere. She showed special interest in the fields of researching and training of VWA. At the same time, the Lady discussed in detail the unique features of the VWA compared to other universities, the issues of supporting students after graduation, and the contributions to the community in the field of social development in general and promoting gender equality in particular.
Assoc. Prof. Tran Quang Tien shared about the philosophy of Education with Comprehensiveness, Quality and Equality of VWA, as well as some information and evidence to help the Lady better visualize the superior educational model, aiming at the comprehensive development of all students, towards promoting equality in the social community.
Also during the visit, Lady H. E. Humile Mashatile and her colleagues visited VWA’s hall of fame and laboratories. They also had the chance to interact with the officials, lecturers and students of VWA.
Particularly, responding to the Month of Action for Gender Equality and Prevention from Gender-Based Violence (from November 15 to December 15), the Lady and her colleagues wrote slogans and wishes on the symbol of a hand to eliminate violence at the exhibition area of ​​VWA.
At the end of the successful visit at VWA, Lady H. E. Humile Mashatile thanked and sent her best wishes to VWA. She hopes that VWA will continue to maintain and develop its special mission.
