The training course is organized to equip knowledge and professional skills for Chairwomen and Chairwomen candidates of the Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU) at the provincial and municipal levels, thereby meeting the requirements and tasks of VWU and of the women’s movement in the current period; creating an environment for leaders of the provincial/municipal VWU to meet, exchange experiences, and learn from each other in their work to meet the increasingly high requirements of work in the technological era, contributing to building an increasingly strong Union.
The training course has the participation of 35 learners who are the Chairwomen and Chairwomen candidates of VWU at the provincial and municipal levels from all three regions: North, Central and South. Learners registering for the course aims for the goal of acquiring key knowledge and skills to improve their capacity, meeting the requirements of self-development to serve their work in the challenging 4.0 technology era.
During the training period, the women were transferred with concise, focused and extremely necessary knowledge such as: Women facing opportunities and challenges in the new context; Skills in organizing press conferences, speaking, and providing information to the press shared by Ambassador NGUYEN Phuong Nga – Former President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations; Skills in managing and developing human resources shared by Mr. NGUYEN Tuan Anh – Consultant, Training and Coaching Expert in the field of Administration, Leadership, Business Culture and Human Potential Development; Organizing public relations in VWU activities shared by Associate Professor, Dr. LUU Kiem Thanh – Former Vice President of the National Academy of Public Administration; Overview of leadership and management skills by Assoc. Prof. Dr. TRAN Thi Thanh Thuy – Vice Rector, Institute of Leadership and Public Policy, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.
The trainees all highly appreciated the knowledge, skills and experiences shared by the experts during the course. Applying and practicing the knowledge imparted in the course also helps Chairwomen and Chairwomen candidates of VWU at the provincial/municipal level improve their capacity to fulfill their roles and responsibilities, creating changes in the leadership and management of the VWU’s work in the locality.
At the end of the training course, 100% of the trainees were awarded certificates of completion by the VWA’s Board of Management.
